Bonvo inks deal with Thomas Cook Sport
Manchester United fans can now fly to Old Trafford to watch Red Devils in action
Singapore, 27th April 2012 –
Bonvo Travel, a leading travel management company based in Singapore, has been appointed as the Official Agent in Singapore for Thomas Cook Sport, the specialist sports tour operator of Thomas Cook, one of the world's largest travel companies.
The agreement with Thomas Cook Sport, the official travel partner to Manchester United, will allow Bonvo Travel to sell official packages to Manchester United fans in Singapore, as well as many other Premier League clubs that Thomas Cook Sport partner with.
Football supporters in Singapore will be able to purchase ‘Match Break’ packages for all Manchester United home games which will include flights, accommodation and guaranteed match tickets to catch the action live at Old Trafford, or, as it is more affectionately known, the Theatre of Dreams.
To celebrate the launch of this partnership, two Manchester United Football Legends, Denis Irwin and Paul Parker were in Singapore to attend the press event and meet some of the most ardent fans from the United For United Supporters’ Club. They demonstrated some ball-handling techniques to a few enthusiastic young fans, gave out prizes to quiz winners, and posed for numerous photos.

Bonvo Travel ranked among Singapore’s top 1000 SMEs

Bonvo Travel is honoured to receive the Singapore SME 1000 award for its outstanding achievements in 2010.
The Singapore 1000, Singapore SME 1000, and the Singapore International 100 awards are conferred on corporations and SMEs which have attained the highest achievements in the quantitative management of their companies.
In being considered for the award, Bonvo Travel was accessed on criteria such as annual sales/turnover and net profit after tax, amount of fixed assets, and local equity ownership.
The Steering Committee, with representatives from DP Information Group, Ernst & Young Solutions LLP, ACRA, IDA Singapore, IE Singapore, SPRING Singapore and Singapore Business Federation, examines the financials and business profiles of corporations/SMEs and reserves the right to award companies/SMEs, which the committee concurs, is most deserving of particular recognition of the Singapore 1000, Singapore SME 1000 or Singapore International 100 award. To be conferred a Singapore 1000, Singapore SME 1000 or Singapore International 100 award, companies must be profitable within the ranked period.
